PIGS ARE VERY CURIOUS AND PLAYFUL. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE FOR YOUNG ANIMALS – THUS FOR OUR WIESENSCHWEIN PIGS.
Traditional livestock systems offer hardly any variety to the pigs, nor any opportunities to pursue their pronounced curiosity. A bit of straw and a small, concrete all-weather run are the maximum.
Wiesenschwein pigs, on the other hand, enjoy their lives. Due to the staggered access to the free-range areas, they have a varied daily routine, and they are constantly discovering new things. In addition, Wiesenschwein pigs have toys and various feed components that provide variety and employment.
